BAY THERAPY AND COUNSELLING WELCOMES YOU
Explore Your Possibilities
Tis The Season...
As autumn leaves cover the ground and we look forwards to winter, there remains the shadow of pandemic, war in Europe, climate change, and a spiralling cost of living. We worry about our futures
and once more find ourselves confronted with fear and uncertainty. As individuals we cannot hope to fix everything, but we can make a start on fixing ourselves. If you feel that it is time to take control, to push life's reset button, make changes and begin afresh; if you need help weathering the emotional challenges which confront you; or simply need a safe space to talk, we are here to listen and to help.
Do you feel stuck, lost, anxious or depressed? Are you struggling to deal with trauma or to come to terms with what life has thrown at you? Do you feel lonely, struggle with social situations or worry about your health? Do you feel that you don't fit in, have low self-esteem or that you're struggling to cope? Do you feel trapped but don't know how to change? Do you need help but feel that nobody is listening?
You're not alone. All of us at some point in our lives encounter fear, loss and difficult experiences that we can struggle to cope with. At times life can feel overwhelming and we may sometimes feel that we have nowhere to turn for help. We are a group of Registered Counsellors, each with our own unique perspectives and styles of working, who have joined together with a shared goal. Our aim is to support those experiencing distress, to help you find your way, to change your life for the better, to equip you with the skills and resilience to weather life's storms and fulfil your potential.
There is a better way, let us help you find it.
Welcome to Bay Therapy and Counselling. We started out as Helen, Ian and Kate, three Therapeutic Counsellors who become friends during our initial training. Working together as a practice we aimed to offer a variety of styles and approaches to help you weather life's storms. We know what a big step it can be to seek help and all share a desire to provide a warm, safe, respectful and positive experience. Kate has now retired from our practice for a well earned rest, whilst Helen and Ian continue to work hard to deliver ethical, safe and evidence-based counselling to our clients.
